President signs mud management board legal umbrella.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has signed the legal umbrella of Sidoarjo Mud Management Board (BPLS), presidential spokesman Andi Malarangeng said at the presidential office here on Monday.

"The BPLS legal umbrella has been signed by President Yudhoyono and it will be announced soon," Andi said, adding that the two legal umbrellas were Presidential Regulation (Pepres) on the formation of organization and Presidential Decree (Kepres) onthe appointment of its members.

Asked when the Pepres and the Kepres were signed, the presidential spokesman said he forgot the date and the names of BPLS members.

He said he had yet to know who would be the chairman of BPLS.
Following the signing of the legal umbrella, Andi said BPLS could directly carry out its duties like the National Team for Sidoarjo Mud Management whose term of duty came to an end on April 8. (***)
